As soon as you enter the house you will find the grand main room enclosed by glass walls that allows you access to the terrace and garden. This generates a light and spacious sensation that, together with the fireplace situated in the center of the room, makes this area the heart of the house. The wooden dining table is located just in front of the large windows leading to the terrace, and sits 8 people. In the lounge there is a comfy corner sofa and all the amenities so you don’t miss out on anything on your vacation. Like a laptop to play movies and programs, a flatscreen TV, Netflix, Amazon Fire Stick, DVD player, free WIFI…
Going down the stairs there is the second lounge/office area – and without a doubt the coolest one. It has a large automatic ceiling window above the office table and is also supplied with a flatscreen TV for streaming, hot/cold air conditioning, WiFi…
The kitchen is one of the most special areas of the house, located on the first floor containing a large wall cavity overlooking the main living area, allowing you a clear view of the living room and garden whilst cooking up your delicious meals. You also have direct access to the barbecue area which is on the same level, facilitating you the resources to have a great feast outside. The kitchen is fully equipped with European appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, electric hob and oven, large fridge/freezer, coffee maker, kettle, complete crockery, small appliances (blender, toaster…) and everything else you need to prepare tasty meals.
The barbecue area has a large terrace table seating 8 people, and all the necessary utensils for those gatherings with family or friends outdoors, while taking advantage of the great weather of the Costa del Sol and excellent produce offered in the area. Which you can find just around the corner!
The accommodation comprises 4 bedrooms, all furnished with fitted wardrobes, air conditioning hot or cold, large windows and/or a terrace. Each bed is also equipped with high-quality bedding.
Up the wooden stairs, on the third floor, there is a spacious double bedroom with a queen-sized bed, and another bedroom including two single beds, both separated by a full bathroom. On this floor, you will also find a charming terrace to sunbathe and admire the fantastic views of the mountains and the pool, which can be accessed from the hallway and the individual double rooms.
On the main floor there is another bedroom with a queen-size bed and beautifully finished with a fantastic bathroom separated into two areas. The fourth bedroom is on the ground floor of the villa, also containing a queen-sized bed and a shower room with a toilet which is just next to the living room/office area.
The living room has a large sofa that can easily be converted into a comfortable double bed if your group needs more space, or just if you want to relax like a king while watching a movie or your favorite show.
The house has 3 bathrooms, with a total of 3 showers comfortably distributed throughout different levels of the house. In addition, high quality towels are provided for all the guests at the house.
The largest bathroom is situated on the first floor, next to one of the bedrooms. It is divided into two zones, separating the bathroom area (toilet, shower/bath and bidet) from the dressing area (basin sink) by a luminous sliding glass door.
On the upper most floor, between two of the bedrooms and near the terrace/balcony is another full bathroom (toilet, shower/bath and bidet).
The third and smallest bathroom is found on the lowest level, near the fourth bedroom and second living room/office area. It contains a toilet, shower and basin sink.
The terraces, the entrance porch and the gardens are illuminated at night, inviting you to relax and take in the beauty of the warm Mediterranean air. Enjoy a glass of wine, whilst looking out over the breathtaking scenery.
The main living area expands, through large glass doors, into the pool terrace, where you will find yourself overlooking the garden, decorated with trees and exotic flowers. The terrace is tastefully designed to allow you to kick back and relax on the outdoor sofa, after a long day of exploring or just a chill day in the villa. Unwind with a cocktail on one of the restful sun loungers, before taking a dip into the private saltwater pool, which ensures to rid anyone of any stress and just bask in the serine moment. There is also an outdoor shower beside the pool, which is not only useful to get clean before entering the pool, but also invites to a quick refreshment in between.
In the upper most part of the house there is a terrace, furnished with chairs and a table, enabling you to relax with the lovely view of the mountains and pool area.
From the garden you also have access to barbecue area/kitchen by climbing only a few grass stairs.
Benalmádena is a place that offers many options for you to spend a vacation of a lifetime. It is the perfect base from which to explore the delights of the Costa del Sol and the rest of Andalusia due to its proximity to Málaga, Fuengirola, Marbella or even the monumental Granada. As a guest of “El sueño de Don Quijote” you will be near the best beaches bordered by beautiful promenades, supermarkets, shops and all kinds of services. You can enjoy the best dishes of the area, “tapas” in the best bars and restaurants or relax and have a good time in the great chiringuitos with live music. A variety of activities such as fishing, parasailing, paddle surfing, water activities, adventure sports, boat trips, excursions, wild dolphin watching excursions, hiking and many golf fields await you,just a few minutes away from the accommodation!
The closest airport is Málaga AGP, which is along the coast between Torremolinos and Málaga and takes only 20 minutes by train, taxi or hire car to the accommodation. Benalmádena can be reached by the frequent (every 20 minutes), inexpensive, and comfortable air conditioned trains which run along the coast from Málaga to Fuengirola, with a station at Málaga Airport. The station at Benalmádena is in Arroyo de la Miel, with taxis and buses to take you to all parts of the town. This train station makes it easy to visit the neighboring cities such as Fuengirola or the cosmopolitan capital Málaga whenever you feel like discovering a little bit more of the Costa del Sol.
You can also get a taxi from outside terminal 3 where there is a taxi rank directly to “El Sueño de Don Quijote”.
